This is a collective photographic exhibition of nudes and portraits, referring to the perception of the beauty of the female body, also a way of sensing the aesthetics of photography. The exhibition that you can see is the result of meetings of a group of photographers from Poland and the Czech Republic, dealing with the issue of the female nude. The meetings are held annually as part of the Łysy Open Air Festival in Lower Silesia.
This is a reference to a certain history nude art photography which were developed very intensively in Lower Silesia, and to be more precise, in Książ Castle. They probably took place there the largest nude photography outdoors in Europe, initiated by Andrzej Protasiuk. The results of these meetings were open-air exhibitions organized in Świdnica.
The VENUS FOTO exhibition, as we mentioned earlier, is a reference to time and space, also a reminder of those years.
Cross-border cooperation
The way of embodying ideas in compositions is simple convey what the word ACT is (so often in contemporary pauperized consciousness).
In 2023 year Łyse Plein-Air took place at the castle in Ząbkowice Śląskie. In a beautiful one the historical space of architecture, not only itself building but also partial ruins, all this is possible see in the photos.
